Set the game up as a League match level 2.  For this level the suits are taken into account. When cards of equal value are drawn then the suits determine the outcome. Note spades are highest, then diamonds, then clubs and then hearts. E.G. if the attacking card is the ten of clubs and the defending card is the ten of diamonds then the attack is stopped.
